Our Goals: To Evangelize the lost To Establish local, indigenous Baptist churches To Equip Cambodian Christians for the work of the ministry To Enlist Christians in World Evangelization |

Cambodia is a small, obscure country in Southeast Asia, a part of the 10/40 window, and is roughly the size of Oklahoma. It has a population of approximately 14 million, of whom almost all are Buddhists. It is surrounded by Thailand to the west, Vietnam to the east, and Laos to the north. |
Sadly, however, Cambodia is known in more recent years not for its beautiful landscape, mysterious temples, and charming people; it is more commonly known for the "Killing Fields" of the mid 1970's in which 3 million Cambodians died at the hands of their own Communist government. Linda's mother and father escaped from Cambodia in 1979, but not before two of their children (Linda's sisters whom she never had the chance to meet) perished. It is important for anyone going to Cambodia to understand how "The Killing Fields" has impacted Cambodian society. Although it occured over thirty years ago, those who are adults today were teenagers during those times, and were forced to witness unspeakable acts of violence. Cambodians are known for their innocent smiles- but underneath many of those smiles lies a rage and bitterness that can only be remedied by salvation through Jesus Christ. |

The exciting thing about Cambodia is that 33 percent of the population is under 14 years of age. In fact, the average age in Cambodia is 22 years. There is great potential in this generation of Cambodians to see God do something miraculous- but someone must be willing to go there and give them the glorious message of the Gospel so that they can take that message to their own country. There are already several wonderful families there who are getting the job done, but there is a great need for many more. Would you consider going?
